Nurse News:
Students in the 7th and 8th grades are being required to get a vaccine (which is a shot) before going to High School. It is to protect against Whooping Cough, also called pertussis, and it also protects against Tetanus, in case you get a dirty cut or step on a nail. The other vaccine is to protect you from Meningitis. Meningitis is very serious and can leave you in a coma or cause you to become very sick, and be put into the hospital.

Many students at this school need these shots, and they will come to the school to give them in April. Students need to take home the very important letter and permission slip that is being handed out Monday. The due date to get them turned in is February 22nd.
Please give these forms to your parents. You and all your friends can get your shots on the same day!! Don't get left out.
