On Thursday night the 7th grade A team had a rematch versus Briese. The first matchup ended with a Unicorn win in Overtime. This time things were different! The Unicorns were not interested in keeping this one close and showed that from the opening tip taking a 20-10 lead by the end of the 1st quarter. The Unicorns never let it get closer than 10 points the rest of the game. Big Blue outsmarted Briese up and down the court and out played them totaling 28 rebounds as a team.

The 7th grade B team had a rematch on their hands as well, only difference is OT was never a threat. In the first meeting of these two teams the Unicorns won by 44 points, last night they won by 40. Big blue held AJB scoreless until the 2nd quarter to go into the half leading 19-4. The second half was not much different as the Unicorns won by a score of 48-8.

Both teams are scheduled for a 3-match against Briese on Saturday in Seguin.
