Do you have talent that you want to show off to the whole school?
Well, you're in luck because Student Council will be holding auditions for this year's talent show TODAY in the cafeteria, starting at 2:50.
Please make sure you read the guidelines and are following them for your audition.
Tickets for the show will be $1 and will go on sale tomorrow during lunch. Seats are limited so it is first-come-first-serve!!
Again tryouts are TODAY, in the cafeteria, starting at 2:50 - Be prepared and see you there.
This announcement is for all 7th & 8th grades Tennis Team members - Team and individual pictures will be taken on Monday, May 19th, after school. All Tennis players will meet in Coach Winki's room, immediately after the bell rings, then we will go to the boys' gym to take the pictures. You need to wear your tennis team shirt, blue or black shorts and bring your racket. If you have any questions, see Coach Winki.
There will be a VERY short FCA meeting on Wednesday, May 14th. We will meet in Coach Winki's room. Her room is 116. The meeting will begin at 2:50 and will be over at 3:15 SHARP! You will be given final information about the NEWK'S fieldtrip on Friday. If you have not signed-up or paid, you can do so at this meeting. You must have signed-up, paid and turned in your permission slip in order to go on the fieldtrip.
HEY, HEY, FCA - This announcement is for all FCA members that are planning to go to NEWK'S on Friday, May 16. If you have not signed-up and paid for this fieldtrip, you must remember to do so immediately. See Coach Winki to sign-up and pay by Thursday. You must also get a permission form filled out by your parents since we are leaving before the school day is over. See Coach Winki to get one of these. If you don't turn in a permission form, you will not be allowed to go. The cost is $8.00. Don't forget that there are half-scholarships available, but there is a limited number.
Golf Team Members who have not turned in their shirts need to bring them to Coach Jones before Friday.
Students: It's time to get books turned in to the library and pay those fines. All books are due by Friday, May 23. There will be no checkouts after May 19. Notices will be handed out to Language Arts teachers and all library business should be concluded by the last day of school. Fines and checkouts do carry over to the high school for 8th graders, so please take advantage of weekly specials now!
Students & Teachers: The "Buy One Get One Free" Book Fair is back! Come stock up on reading material for the summer. Book Fair will be open Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 7:30 to 3:30 and Tuesday after TAKS retesting is complete. Thanks and hope to see you soon!
