The PTA is sponsoring the eighth grade boys basketball tournament. The tournament will be held this Thursday thru Saturday. They will be selling pizza and sodas on Thursday and Friday after school in the front for $1.00 each.
Be sure to bring money to purchase raffle tickets and student/faculty basketball tickets. You can buy these tickets during lunch this week in the cafeteria for $1.00 each. The game tickets will allow you to get out of class to watch the faculty game. Seventh graders will attend on Thursday and eighth on Friday.
Mrs. Zaleski is offering another great opportunity to pay off your fines! Fines will be 1/2 off if paid before spring break. So get to the library and save now if you owe a fine! Offer does not apply to lost books!
Hey all you Unicorn fans, the NBMS Unicorn Tennis Team will be playing it's first match this afternoon at the high school. We will be taking on Canyon & Church Hill Middle Schools. The match will begin at approximately 4:15. Come support your team so that we can really raise a racket!!!
Attention All FCA Members - Don't forget to bring your bottles this week for the Zambia Project. Coach Winki must have them by Friday so that she can get our donation counted. Also, don't forget the movie night on Friday. It will be at Oakwood, in the youth center. Please remember to bring your ticket with a parent's signature on it. You can't get in without it! If you need a ticket, see Coach Winki ( they're free!). There will not be a meeting after school on Friday because of the Boy' Basketball Tournament.
Good Morning! This week the Food Service Department has decided to provide a chance to win two movie tickets.
Eat breakfast at the cafeteria March 10-13; the winner will be drawn on March 14 and the prize can be picked up from the cafeteria manager.
8th grade A team Played canyon middle school yesterday and lost a close game 40-47.
Leading scorer was Christian Cantu with 16 points. Ralph Garza had 6 points and kyle Hittle finished with 5.
The B team lost a hard fought game 21-35. Scorers were JJ Baqltierra with 6, Brandon Nerios 4, Ty Chafin and Colton Hanson with 3, Nick DeLa Cerda and Jake Bohan with 2, and Garett Sohn with 1.
The 8th graders will host the Post-Season tournament this weekend starting on thursday.
