But now that I have your attention - This message is for all 8th grade girls interested in trying out for either Mystics of Freshman Cheerleader. There will be an informational meeting on January 28 at the high school at 7:00pm. You AND a parent or guardian MUST be in attendance to get a packet and to be eligible to tryout. You can pick up an information sheet from Coach Winki beginning today.
Congratulations to the 8th grade girls basketball teams! The A-team defeated Smithson Vally 60-29. Leading scorers were Angela Lowak with 20 points and Marissa Kirsch with 8 points. The B-team also defeated Smithson Vally 31-20. Top scorers were Megan Cattin with 7 points and Paige Granzin with 6 points. The B-team currently is ranked 2nd place in the district and the A-team remains undefeated. Don't' miss an exciting game on Tuesday as the girls take Canyon and battle it out for the district championship. See you there!
