Hey StuCo members!
Don't forget about our meeting this Monday, October 8, from 2:50 - 3:30 in the cafeteria. It's your last chance to turn in dues before we place our shirt order. We'll also be making plans for Red Ribbon Week. See you there.


Attention all FCA students - Don't forget the meeting this Friday. We will start in the small gym and then split up. This is our 2nd "girl talk/boy talk". Jeff and Jennifer will be with us again along with some others to talk about " he says/she says-are we on target?". Also, don't forget about "The Silver Ring Thing" this Saturday at Tree of Life. If you need information, See Coach Winki.

Mrs. Lewis' classes will meet in the library again today. Please meet her at the steps OUTSIDE of the library between the science building and the library.

The 7th grade A & B teams kept their unbeaten streaks alive on Thursday against Briesemeister. The A team offense was led by Quarterback Jacob Cantu and a committee of running backs including Jared Molina, Izaak Villarreal, and Cody Bevil as well as great blocking by the offensive line. The defense kept the Toros offense in check all night thanks to great play by Robert Flores, Richard Sanchez and Martin Gonzales leading to a 34-12 victory. The B team pitched a 36-0 shutout with big plays from quarterback Weston King and receiver Michael Lynch, combined with a swarming defense led by linebackers Koulton Hall and C.C. Matull. Both teams are 3-0 and looking forward to hosting Dobie next Thursday! Go BLUE!


Congratulations to the 7th grade volleyball teams. The A-team defeated Dobie 25-8 and 25-8. Jessica Waldrip led the offense serving up 11 aces and Allie Hubicsak had 7. Casey Chafin had 6 hits and Morgan Land had 4. Good job ladies!

The 7th grade B-team won all 3 of their games last night with scores of 25-22, 25-21, and 15-9. Destinee Farias led the Unicorns with 9 aces, Kate Lemley followed with 5 aces and Lisa Pickens ended the game with a kill. Congratulations ladies!

You will need to pick up the information sheet for the TEXAS STATE CC MEET in the Girls weight sometime today.
The bus will be leaving to Texas State at 8:30am on Saturday, so don't be late!
If you are not going to make it to the Cross Country meet tomorrow you will need to go to Coach Martinez's office to let him know!

Ready to go shopping? The Scholastic Book Fair is almost here! Start saving your money and get ready to buy some of the latest and greatest books available. Book Fair begins October 11 and ends on October 18. We'll be open from 7:30 to 3:30 every day and have extended hours on both Thursdays. Come by the library for a sneak peak flyer!


October 8th through 11th is Tune up with breakfast week. Make sure that you eat breakfast everyday and you could win a free ring tone download for your cell phone. To qualify for the prize you must eat breakfast everyday next week. Prize awarded Friday morning.

The 8th grade "A" team defeated Briesemeister 29-8 last night in Seguin. Riley Grametbauer led the way with 4 touchdowns in the game.
The "B" team defeated Briese 40-0 with touchdowns by Brandon Lopez, Adrian Sanchez and Aaron Dubose to lead the Unicorns
